ticket or boarding a BayRunner vehicle, you agree to be bound by these terms.
BayRunner Shuttle operates its own transportation services and partners with Greyhound,
FlixBus, and Amtrak, which may sell BayRunner tickets and provide connecting
transportation.
1. Tickets & Fares
All tickets are valid only for the specific date and time on the ticket. Tickets are nontransferable and may not be resold. Fares may vary by date, time, and availability and are
subject to change until purchased. Taxes and ticketing fees may apply.
2. Fare Types
Saver Fare
Non-refundable. May be cancelled up to 3 hours before scheduled departure and issued
as a future travel credit, which expires 12 months from the date of issue.
Flexible Fare
Fully refundable until 10 minutes before scheduled departure. No cancellation fee. Refund
is issued to the original form of payment.
3. Cancellations, Missed Connections & Refunds
These rules apply only to passengers who booked directly with BayRunner Shuttle (website
or phone).
a. If a passenger misses their shuttle due to a verifiable airline or train delay, they may
move to the next available BayRunner shuttle the same day at no charge. If the last
shuttle of the night is missed, the passenger may move to a shuttle the following
day. The BayRunner dispatcher must be able to verify the delay or cancellation of
the connecting flight or train. If the delay cannot be verified, no changes or credits
will be issued. There are no refunds or credits for passengers who choose not to
wait for the next available shuttle. No refunds are issued for missed shuttles
caused by connection issues or cancellations.
b. Passengers who booked through Greyhound, FlixBus, or Amtrak must request all
refunds, changes, or credits through the company that sold the ticket.
c. Refunds apply only to the base fare. Ticketing fees and refundable fare surcharges
are not refunded. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the
original method of payment.
4. Boarding Requirements
All listed times are departure times. Passengers must arrive at least 15 minutes before
departure. Seats are forfeited if a passenger arrives late. Passengers must present either a
mobile ticket (QR code or barcode) or a printed ticket.
5. Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowance depends on how the ticket was purchased. Tickets booked through
BayRunnerShuttle.com or by phone include two bags per passenger. Tickets booked
through Greyhound, FlixBus, or Amtrak include one bag per passenger. Additional or
oversized baggage may be refused due to space limitations. BayRunner does not check
bags. Passengers are responsible for their belongings at all times. BayRunner is not
responsible for loss, theft, or damage to baggage or personal items.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted on BayRunner vehicles or in baggage compartments:
firearms, weapons (including replicas or toys), explosives, fireworks, ammunition,
flammable or hazardous materials, compressed gas cylinders, acids, chemicals, poisons,

animals and approved pets), furniture, or large commercial cargo. Valuables such as cash,
jewelry, laptops, medication, and passports must remain in the passenger’s possession.

20 pounds are charged $25 each way and may ride in a lap or empty seat at the driver’s
discretion. Dogs over 20 pounds are charged as an additional passenger and must travel in
a crate. Cats are $25 each way and must be in a carrier, with a maximum of two cats. Pet
reservations are standby only. If space is not available or another passenger has a severe
allergy, the pet owner may be required to wait for the next available shuttle. No refunds are
issued in these situations. Service animals trained to assist a person with a disability are
